Design and construction of a prefabricated structure support platform for silo roof

Abstract：The construction of silo roof structure is a difficult and key link in silo engineering.A prefabricated silo roof support platform was designed to address the issues of diverse construction methods,incompatible support systems,and poor economy for silo roof structures.This platform is suitable for supporting various types of silo roof structures.Engineering practice showed that the support system is simple to construct,and the platform truss is assembled by splicing standard sections of platform trusses of different lengths to meet the construction needs of silo top structures with different diameters;segmented design is adopted for the central column,using socket and bolt connections,and standard sections are spliced into central columns of different heights to construct roof structures with different heights.This prefabricated system has advantages such as light weight,reusable,safe and economic,and fast construction in silo projects.
