Abstract:To study the method of winter fog control in the coal mining face of Hongshaquan Open-pit Mine, the climatic characteristics of the mining area were analyzed.Thermodynamic theory was used to calculate the saturated water pressure when fog was generated, and a scheme for fog dissipation and elimination was proposed.Thermal elimination experiments were designed to determine parameters such as wind speed and temperature during the defogging process.Regression analysis was conducted on the functional relationship between wind speed, wind temperature, and the distance from the testing point. The results show that when the winter temperature of the Hongshaquan Open-pit Mine is below-14.8℃,the coal mining face begins to fog;The saturated water vapor pressure at this temperature is 194.7 Pa;The wind speed at the test point decreases in a power function pattern with increasing distance; The average wind temperature decreases logarithmically with increasing distance.Raising the temperature of the coal mining face can effectively increase the saturated air water pressure, thereby suppressing the generation of fog. When the temperature is above-26℃,using a heat elimination scheme can eliminate fog within the working range of the excavator; When it is between-28℃and-30℃,only mist within a range of 5~10 m can be dissipated; When the temperature is below-30℃,only mist within the range of 0~5 m can be dissipated.
