Abstract:With the continuous advancement of digital transformation in the coal industry,Building Information Modeling(BIM)technology has attracted increasing attention in coal mine engineering. We explored the application characteristics and development prospects of BIM technology in the coal sector, systematically analyzed the limitations of traditional 2D design, and comprehensively summarized the significant advantages of BIM in enhancing three-dimensional spatial representation, facilitating multi-disciplinary collaborative design, optimizing construction stages, and achieving full lifecycle management.Using the Xinjie Taigemiao Mining Area's No.1 and No.2 mine and coal preparation plant project as cases,we discussed the development process of the"Digital Delivery Enterprise Standard for Coal Mine Shenhua Xinjie Energy Co.,Ltd."and"Washing Engineering of Shenhua Xinjie Energy Co.,Ltd."and validates the implementation status of standards through the construction of a comprehensive information platform. It was demonstrated that, digital delivery enabled by BIM models has achieved integrated and dynamic information management, significantly improving design efficiency, construction quality, and operational performance. This provides strong support for realizing digital twins and intelligent mine management.
