Long distance directional drilling technology in Shendong Mining Area

Abstract：Based on the precise detection of long-distance directional drillers employed in Shendong mining area,in terms of the long-distance directional driller's advantages,such as high detection accuracy,long detection distance,and drill bit high flexible orientation,we took the work as examples,including advance detection before excavation at working face,long-distance drainage of overlying goaf water,and accurate detection of fault structures.We studied the trajectory design and construction technology of long-distance directional detection drilling,summarized the construction technology and experiences of various drilling holes,and analyzed the relevant judgment standards during the detection process;Obtained drilling results judgment indicators mainly comprised of return water volume,return water color,characteristics of return sediment,gas composition content at the hole mouth,and drilling resistance.Finally,the judgment basis for the long-distance directional detection construction was formed.
