Control of toxic and harmful gases during blasting operations at Tunbao Coal Mine

Abstract：It is difficult to control gas during blasting operations in underground coal mines.During the construction of the winch chamber and gas drainage chamber at Tunbao Coal Mine,the construction process was adjusted and optimized by utilizing the gas drainage system,equipped with the installation of isolation and gas chambers.A new technological innovation was created to ensure good gas control during the blasting operation.On the basis of national standards,toxic and harmful gases were effectively controlled.With the prerequisite of safe construction,this method greatly reduces working time,and increases working efficiency.During the construction,there were no gas exceeding limits or injury accidents happened.It is proved that,this method is safe and effective to solve the blasting smoke and dust problem.
