Design of extra-large 35kV box substation under special conditions

Abstract：In view of the lack of current industry experience and difficulties in safety, thermal insulation, corrosion prevention and maintenance in the design and construction of the extra-large 35kV box substation, This author introduces the design and analysis of the traditional substation and the ways of box changeover, cabinet form, main changeful voltage regulation and high-voltage reactive power compensation, which effectively solves the problems of capital, construction period and layout. At the same time, through the application of unique cooling circulation systems, refrigerator insulation technology, corrosion prevention and other processes, and the processing of key nodes, as well as the use of intelligent means such as fiber temperature detection and temperature and humidity control, the inherent difficulties of the ultra-large 35kV box substation have been solved, which can ensure the safe and reliable operation of the system.
