A review on design of Ningtiaota Super-large Coal Mine

Abstract：Based on the design of Ningtiaota Coal Mine, and the guiding ideology of high standard, high level and high efficiency, through application of advanced technical equipment and management mode, raising mechanization level and the production of single working face, the design managed to maximize production centralization, simplify ground support facilities, reduce staff and enhance efficiency, shorten the construction period, save construction funds, reduce land occupation, and reserve the development space for the coal mine. The design brings low cost and good economic benefits, makes Ningtiaota Coal Mine become one of the best modern and large green mines in China. The experience of large mine design under complex conditions is summarized.
