Study on transformation and development strategy for coal construction industry in the new era

Abstract：To actively adapt to the economic development trend centering on quality and efficiency, actively implement the transformation and upgrading path characterized by endogenous growth in the coal industry, and steadily promote the business development model oriented to value-driven development. According to the PEST structure of strategic analysis tool, the author analyzes the opportunities and challenges for the development of coal construction industry in the new era, discusses the strategic thinking for the transitional development, proposes four operational paths: the layout of resource surveys, technological innovations in engineering, corporate transformation and upgrading, and international development strategies. Finally, with the perspective of ensuring the higher quality, better efficiency, fairer environment, and more sustainable development of coal construction industry, the author puts forward policy suggestions that focus on the main role of market allocation, engineering construction qualification management, talent cultivation, and credit system establishment.
