Separate discharge of clean and waste water of No.2 coal seam in Maiduoshan Coal Mine

Abstract：To reduce the operating pressure of water treatment and decrease the power cost in Maiduoshan Coal Mine, according the practical character of mine water, which comprises clean water from the roof of No.2 coal seam and waste water from mining, the present drain system is appraised, checked the draining capacity in main and assistant level, and finally a water drainage scheme is proposed draining clean water and waste water separately. This project will decrease the total quantity of drain during mining, play an important role in energy saving, and provide experiences for similar mines with complex hydrological conditions.
