Abstract:According to the problem of varying interlayer distance during multi seam mining at Zhuangshang Coal Mine in Liulin, Shanxi province, by means of theoretical analysis combined with numerical calculation, we studied the stress and plastic zone distribution law under coal pillar, determined the contrary of interlayer distance changes with different support mode: when the interlayer distance is within 4~5m, take the support scheme of single prop, shortened anchor roof support, and strengthened support of the coal wall near the pillar side for reinforcement support; when the interlayer distance is within 5~7m, single prop is not needed, the anchor length has to be increased to 4.5m. Through the analysis of pressure observation results during the mining period, the surrounding rock of roadway is basically stable, the support scheme satisfied the demand of safe mining.
