Application of key technology for fabricated steel tube truss and support splice joints

Abstract：There are three assembling ways for fabricated steel tube truss and support in field splicing,namely,flange splice joint,sleeve splice joint and plate splice joint.Study on the design of these three joints is the key for fabricated structure.The connection design of lateral force resisting element(LFRE) for the three assembling ways is carried out based on the calculated result by "Spas + PMSAP" integrated design module.According to the calculation results,the three splice joints can satisfy the design requirement with proper gusset plate,welding seam and bolt connections.Through analyzing the calculated result,all these three splice joints can satisfy the requirement for fabricated steel tube truss and support during field splicing.
