Research on freezing shaft walls in deep bedrock shafts

Abstract：The theoretical calculation of vertical shaft freezing wall is still in the exploratory stage till now.Based on the monitoring results of the freezing pressure and water pressure of the vertical shaft in Mengcun Coal Mine,the corresponding formulas was given for the vertical shaft wall load.The test results were analyzed combining with engineering practice,so as to reveal the relevant application problems for the deep bedrock in the western part of China using the design theory of the frozen shaft lining in the middle and eastern parts of the country.The paper can provide references for the design of vertical shaft freezing shaft wall in western China.
