Technical characteristics and application progressof Shenhua methanol to olefins

Abstract：First,the paper introduced the Shenhua methanol to olefins (SHMTO) catalyst characteristics and process technology;then,analyzed the characteristics of reaction,regeneration,water system and heat recovery systems of the process,analyzed the key equipment and core internals of SHMTO as well as their functions;finally,focused on the development process and application of Shenhua methanol olefins technology,and offered the production data of the first time industrial application,which was also compared with the industrial production effects of DMTO technology(Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics,China Academy of Science),and SMTO technology(Sinopec).The results show that,the catalyst and device of SHMTO produces higher yield with lower methanol consumption.
