Abstract：The asphaltors can be extracted from the coal direct liquefaction residue by coal tar oils,up to 50% weight of residue.In the extract process,solid-liquid separation and solvent recycle were carried out.The ash content of coal liquefaction asphaltors can be controlled by solid-liquid separation.Meanwhile,the technical development of coal liquefaction asphaltors used as production of waterproof roll,impregnation pitch,mesocarbonmicrobeads,needle coke and super high specific surface area activated carbon was also be conducted widely.The extracted remains can also be used as raw materials for gasification.So,the efficient and clean utilization technology of coal direct liquefaction residue was achieved.
