Excavation and support technology of cutting hole for the 8.8 m mining height working face

Abstract：The section size of the cutting hole for the 8.8m mining height of 12401 working face in Shangwan Coal Mine is 11.4m ×6.3m.According to the problem of constructing and supporting difficulty for the large cross-section roadway tunneling in extremely thick coal seam,Shangwan Coal Mine completed the construction of the extremely large cross-section roadway by checking the support parameters and improving the construction technology.The success of the cutting hole tunneling created a good condition for the installation in 8.8m working face.
