Countermeasures for crushing accident of walking hydraulic support under pressure in short wall mining near the faults

Abstract：Aiming at the support crushing problem of crawler walking support under the broken roof near fault in short wall mining of the corner coal,the whole process of the support crushing accident was introduced,in accordance with the procedure of "emergency-response analysis-accident handling",effective emergency measures was taken quickly,the direct and indirect causes were analyzed,the grouting reinforcement method of roof,loose gangue was proposed,the maximum traction and type selection of the prop-drawing winch were analyzed,the support was drawn out successfully using the combined traction of both prop-drawing winch and walking support.Engineering practice has proved that,reasonable application of grouting reinforcement and prop-drawing winch is an effective method to rapidly handle the walking support crushing under the unstable roof.
