Application research on sodium silicate chemical grouting material for pre-grouting at surface ground

Abstract：In order to solve the problem that the traditional granular grouting material can′t be injected into deep bedrock with microfissure,the paper researched the basic properties of sodium silicate chemical material and the grouting process with sodium silicate chemical material for surface pre-grouting.The results showed that:sodium silicate chemical material was suitable for pre-grouting at surface ground with the low viscosity,good injection,high strength of the consolidate body and adjustable gel time.After grouting with sodium silicate on pre-grouting at aquifer stratum on the deep bedrock of the air shaft,the water blocking effect was favorable.
