Mechanism and treatment of air-shaft outer lining crack in Wanfu Mine

Abstract：Aiming at the crack of air shaft outer lining between-130m to-300m in Wanfu Mine,during the freezing construction,causes for the crack were analyzed.The breaking mechanism of shaft lining was analyzed according to the data of informationized construction and observation results,which indicated the non-uniform stress distribution and excessive frost heaving force is the main cause for crack.A well curb and backboard combined supporting scheme was proposed,with lower the height of each segment,employment of pressure relief groove and thicker foam board.Favorable effect was achieved in subsequent construction.
