Study on evaluation of location selection for coal mine refuge chamber

Abstract：In order to provide a timely,safe and reliable refuge space for the workers in the effective area of underground coal mine,the paper constructs an evaluation index system of location selection for coal mine refuge chamber based on AHP,which takes 7 evaluation factors as secondary index,such as the surrounding geology,and takes 20 sub-evaluation factors as third class index,such as the surrounding rock stability.On the basis of AHP rationale and evaluation procedure,a case study is carried out for refuge chamber in Zhaolou Coal Mine which indicates the location selection of refuge chamber is reasonable.
