Application of BIM-based 3D collaborative designin coal mine design companies

Abstract：In this paper,the application of BIM technology and the 3D collaborative design was introduced based on the technological principal and collaborative design practice.The procedure and effect of BIM technology were explained combining with the specific cases of engineering design,development direction of the technology in coal industry design and the problems confronted were pointed out,and the suggestions were proposed on BIM technology and resource strategy,cooperation enhancement,sharing and win-win prospect.
