Research on characteristics of flotation feed in coal preparation plant

Abstract：In order to have a better understanding of the characteristics of flotation feed in coal preparation plants,this paper analyzed the slime screening test results of the coal slime from coal preparation plants with different separation processes,and finished the mathematical statistics of the test results.The statistics show that,the distribution characteristics and particle size follows the Rosin-Rammler distribution,which can be used for yield prediction for any particle size.The result can offer references for new preparation plant construction with inadequate coal quality data.
