Wind temperature forecast and cooling measures for mining under thick overburden

Abstract：In order to ensure the safe production of Quandian Coal Mine,the MVDSS wind temperature prediction software was used to predict the wind temperature in different areas.The results show that the wind temperature in the shallow and deep area was over-limit from June to August.At the time of mining in September and October,the wind temperature was still overrun in deep area.The factors influencing the air temperature in different regions were analyzed.Finally,a conclusion was obtained,the influence of overburden thickness on the work site temperature is higher than ground temperature;in shallow area non-mechanical cooling can achieve favorable results,while mechanical cooling measures shall be taken in deep area.
