Application of retraction method with five shield supportsin 7m high cutting fully mechanized working face

Abstract：Aiming at the intensive labor,high risk,large timbers consumption and serious resource waste in retraction,a new retraction method was applied in 52306 working face of Daliuta Coal Mine using five special shield supports for roof control.Practice proved that the method realized mechanized roof support for terminal triangle areas,availably reducing unsupported area;compared with the retraction technology using four shield supports,timber consumption was reduced by 50% and the retraction efficiency was increased by 30%;labor intensity of workers was reduced,realizing safe retraction of support in high cutting fully mechanized mining face.
