Time-dependent behavior of bolt anchoring and its recovery technology in sidewall anchor along mining roadway

Abstract：To eliminate the security risks from metal bolt-rod legacy in front of the long-wall working face, on the basis of time-dependent behavior of bolt anchoring and stability criterion of surrounding rock and numerical calculation, the reasonable recovery range was optimized for the bolt in front of long-wall working face and a recovery equipment of bolt was developed using combined hollow auger drill as main body. A complete set of recovery technical measures in front of the long-wall working face was established. According to filed test, the recovery schemes were feasible and practical.
