Study on strata behavior law of working face crossing collapse columns in initial mining

Abstract：As there are many collapse columns in Sanjusheng Coal Mine affecting the mining efficiency, field measurement was carried out to study the collapse column's influence to the mine strata pressure in 4304 coal mining face during the initial mining. The results showed that:due to the influence of collapse columns, the initial roof weighting was different of the past performance, the strength was reduced, time was early, and step distance was reduced. Analysis of the experimental results can provide reference for crossing collapse columns during the initial mining under similar conditions.
