Abstract:As in working face and the roadway of Xinrui Coal Mine No.5 coal seam, conventional resin bolt failed to improve the overall stability of the roadway broken roof, leading to inadequate preloading, the main reasons for roadway damage of ultra-close seam mining was analyzed, a combined support technology was proposed using hydraulic expansion anchor, reinforced ladder beams and anchor mesh. By analyzing hydraulic expansion anchor bolt drawing force under different axial stress distributions, a mechanical model was established for hydraulic expansion bolt action, and the hydraulic expansion bolt mechanism and application conditions were briefly introduced. Based on the mechanical effects of numerical simulation and mechanics analysis of the model case, hydraulic expansion bolt was applied in Xinrui Coal Mine. The practices showed that the violent surrounding rock displacements of lower slicing roadway was effectively controlled using the combined support technology, favorable supporting effect was achieved.
