Design and application of separation process for Yidong Coal Preparation Plant

Abstract：To improve the clean utilization of raw coal and economic benefits of Yidong Coal Mine, the coal separation process was designed based on the coal property analysis, which used dense medium shallow groove separator for 150~13mm lump coal, pressurized-fed two-product dense medium cyclone for 13~1.5mm slack coal, spiral separator for 1.5~0.15mm coarse slime and press filter for 0.15~0mm slime. Process layout schemes were introduced.
