Abstract:In order to find out karst development law and occurrence characteristics of groundwater in coal stratum roof limestone aquifer including, controlled source audio frequency magnetotelluric method and supplementary hydrogeological survey were implemented to explore the karst development law; dewatering test and connection test were carried out to identify the water permeability of faults in the minefield; the hydrochemical characteristics of groundwater was analyzed. The results show that the depth of Xintian Coal Strata Roof karst depth reaches 412. 82m; karst in the plane is obviously controlled by the terrain and tectonics. Fault F1 at the mine field boundary is non-water-conductive, which is the hydrogeology boundary of mine; faults in the mining field are water-conductive, which are the channels of limestone aquifer to the stope. Atmospheric precipitation is the replenishment of aquifers, and thus indirectly to replenish the stope.
