Abstract:In order to eliminate the safety problems caused by large area of unsupported roof in forced roof caving, which is required in initial mining period for fully-mechanized working face of Jinjie Coal Mine, the safety issues such as massive overlying rock strata suspend on the gob, the author analyzed strata behaviors of forced first roof caving with blasting method; studied roof caving features and support working resistance were monitored according to pressure and flow rate in the fracturing process; and summarized the law of strata behaviors in 31111 fully mechanized working face first roof caving with hydraulic fracturing in Jinjie Coal Mine. The results showed that, roof caving process was layered, fractional and gradual , thus avoiding the damage caused by sudden massive roof caving during initial mining; dynamic load coefficient on the hydraulic support was reduced, alleviating the impact load under first weighting. The strata behaviors and roof caving indicates hydraulic fracturing technology for first caving of coal mine working face is safe and reliable.
