Practice of 4-level drilling gas drainage technology in Sihe Mine

Abstract：According to the actual situation of gas drainage in initial and normal mining in Sihe coal mine, the resource of gas was analyzed. Based on the vertical distribution of mining pressure relief, a 4-level drilling gas drainage system was designed and constructed, including low-level drilling, mid-level drilling, high-level drilling and floor interception drilling, which work coordinately for gas drainage. The drainage effect of each drilling exceeded the expectation. The 4-level drilling gas drainage model was established, so as to improve the gob gas drainage efficiency, solve the gas problem, to some extent, in working face initial mining and normal mining.
