Practice of medium consumption reduction in Wangfenggang Coal Preparation Plant

Abstract：Aiming at the high medium consumption in Wangfenggang coal preparation plant, specific detection and analysis were carried on removal effect of sculping screen, medium recovery of magnetic separator and medium-loss in product, so as to analyze the causes and influencing factors. Accordingly, the specific technical and management measures were proposed to reduce the medium consumption, after reformation the monthly average medium consumption was reduced from 1. 58kg/t to 1. 16kg/t.
