Influence evaluation and control of water hazard in Changping Coal Mine

Abstract：To alleviate the high gas pressure No. 3 coal seam of Changping Coal Mine, the coal mine planned to mine the lower No. 8 coal seam as liberation seam, which located at the upper part in Taiyuan formation of Carboniferous system. As the Ordovician limestone has large thickness, and bears rich water, which constitutes main flood threat of No. 8 coal seam mining. The coal mining influence on water hazard was evaluated, and the corresponding water prevention and control countermeasures and technical measures were formulated.
