Application of precise basic hydrogeological work in water prevention and control in coal mine under complex geological condition

Abstract：Article refers to the 12. 19 incident at Jinding coal mine in Western Henan province at which a cambrian limestone coal floor water - irruption happened. By ananylzing previous basic hydrogeological data combine with complementary in-situ investigation, hydrogeological characteristics of Jinding coal mine has been understood, parameters calibrated, investigation method confirmed. Hindrance on flood prevention caused by lack of essential supplies, parameter errors and discrepancies of understanding has been pointed out. Thus, the importance of accuracy on basic hydrogeological work has been emphasized.
