Main problems and the countermeasures of water hazard in Wanbei mining area

Abstract：To control the water hazard in Wanbei mining area, the main problems of water hazard in Wanbei mining area were introduced, the key control technology for the water hazard was expounded, including loose strong aquifer under safe coal mining technology, confined limestone water treatment control system, hidden karst pillar prediction and control technology, flood forecast early warning and mixed source identification technology, geophysical exploration technology advanced mine hydrogeological condition, and the technology of mine water resource utilization. With the application of the technical and management measures, production safety and efficiency were ensured, and remarkable economic and social benefits were achieved.
