Application research of BIM technology in Daliuta Coal Mine

Abstract：As the first real application BIM project of coal industry in China, BIM pilot project in Daliuta Coal Mine is introduced, along with the BIM background, industry application concept and application value? Aiming at the engineering change and uncontrollable estimated cost caused by the complicated inter-disciplinary coordination, unstable geological conditions, lack of precise geologic model, and the gaps in application of construction simulation and process simulation for underground coal mine engineering, through the establishment of a precise geologic model based on rock stratum database, the BIM technology in underground mines and mines was studied and validated by means of 3D visualization of equipment layout, multi-disciplinary collaboration and construction simulation.
