Research and application of support technology for large section roadway in extra thick coal seam

Abstract：In order to ensure tunneling and mining safety in No?92 district fully mechanized top coal caving face mining roadway of No?9 coal seam Dongpo Coal Mine, improve the roadway conditions, through displacement data analysis of inside and outside of No?914 working face and bolt ( cable ) stress variation monitoring, the roadside 0~4?5m was determined as rupture zone according to the natural equilibrium arch theory? A combined support scheme was designed for No?92 working face mining roadway using bolt, cable, ladder beam and metal mesh? The support parameters were determined by numerical simulation based on scientific calculation? According to the mining test in 923 working face, favorable technical and economic benefits were achieved.
