Optimization of technical specifications for shovel and truck in open pit coal mine

Abstract：In order to overcome the deficiency of shovel-truck specification matching in domestic open pit coal mine, which only consider the ratio of truck load and shovel load and truck utilization rate, solve shovel-truck matching difficulty without quantitative assessment method for matching scheme, and lack of theoretical support foe related indicators. Based on the principle of “maximum equipment capacity” and system engineering, an optimal technical scheme for equipment matching was proposed to calculate the equipment combination capacity indicator for each matching scheme. The results show that this method can quickly determine the optimal matching of specifications for shovel and truck, and offer references for the following equipment investment cost analysis.
