Lighting protection design for engineering project of CNG preparation with coal mine gas

Abstract：The paper analyzed the technological process of CNG preparation with coal mine gas, according to using properties of the structures, the lighting protection level was classified, and appropriate protection measures were taken. In view of the various lightning protection measures of gas release tube in different situation of practical engineering, the paper analyzed the precondition of various measures in detail. Reasonable lightning protection measures were taken for the gas release tube, combining with the process characteristics of the project, limiting the overvoltage level of lightning, and ensuring equipment and personnel safety.
