Abstract:In order to improve the using efficiency of gasification residue and maximize the resource utilization. The residue from Texaco gasifier was taken as research objects to investigate the particle size distribution, content distribution, loss on ignition and morphology characteristics of coarse slag and fine slag with grading analysis, determination of loss on ignition, XRD and SEM, and the floatation decarbonization test was carried out. Results show that residual carbon content of fine slag is higher than that of coarse slag, there are high LOI numerical values in all of the particle size fractions in fine slag and a certain amount of particle size fractions in coarse slag, that carbon can been secondary enriched through beneficiation method; unburnt coal particles in the residue is fragmented and in other irregular shapes, with well-developed pore structure on the surface; certain decarbonization effect can be achieved with conventional flotation agent, houever, obtaining small combustible material recovery, ultrasonic pretreatment can enhance the floatation effect and realize effective decarburization.
