A review on safe, efficient and green mining technology of coal resources in Shendong mining area

Abstract：Shendong Coal Group established Shendong mining area since 1985, during the coal mines construction and coal mining process, based on mining technology conditions of the specific coal geology and coal seam occurrence, the group kept seeking truth from facts, and accomplished the development and application of many utility model technologies, including key technology of shallow buried, thin bedrock, safe and efficient mining, super large height longwall mining, low pollution explosion-proof mine vehicle, informatization, digital and intelligent technology for mine, comprehensive utilization technology of underground water resources. The research and application of these techniques has improved the mine disaster prevention capabilities, and minimized the natural and ecological environment damage caused by coal mining, achieved safe, efficient and green mining of coal resources, and provided about 2. 4 billion ton of high quality coal energy.
