Design and application of automatic cooling system in driving face

Abstract：Aiming at the technical difficulty and high cost of long-distance driving face cooling, an automatic cooling system is designed, comprising two sets of refrigeration equipment A and B. refrigeration capacity of A is sent to boring head through an ordinary ventilator, and that of B is delivered to tunneling roadway through a modified ventilator. Set A of maintains normal operation, while B only runs when personnel passing roadway, which is realized by infrared body sensors, PLC and relay. Practice shows: the automatic cooling system is safe and reliable, the working environment of working face is greatly improved, and the cooling cost is reduced.
