Assessment of adaptability of support for high cutting fully mechanized top coal caving face

Abstract：Aiming at the problems in initial mining of 6upper105-2 large mining height fully mechanized top coal caving face in Suancigou coal mine, such as strong strata behavior, serious support damage, etc., control measures are taken, including opening pressure adjustment of safety valve and setting strip coal wall in goaf. The working resistance of support and strata behavior are monitored in real time. Through theoretical calculation and actual measurement, the roof structure model of working face and the measured strata behavior regularity could be subsequently obtained. At last, support adaptability is verified from working resistance, roof control result, support effect and working state, which can satisfy the requirement of roof control.
