Design on parameter monitoring system of tunnel drilling rig based on CoDeSys

Abstract：To meet the requirements of tunnel drilling rig, a drilling parameter monitoring system is designed, using PLC as hardware system control core, applying CoDeSys for designing software system, and the signal collection and processing method is introduced in detail. The monitoring system adopts the CAN bus network to realize communication with upper machine, the interface based on PC windows is designed with LabVIEW. Practical application results show that, the monitoring system can accurately display and save the drilling parameters to the PC. The drilling efficiency is improved, providing strong real-time performance, and high reliability.
