Abstract：This study aimed to better promote and apply the virus-free technology of sweet potato stem tip meristem tissue culture,the application prospects and problems of the development of sweet potato virus-free seedling industry were analyzed by summarizing the incidence and harm of sweet potato virus diseases in China,including the lack of quality supervision of sweet potato virus-free seedlings,the urgent need to strengthen the breeding system,and the urgent need to improve the promotion system.The countermeasures to promote the development of sweet potato virus-free seedling industry were put forward,including optimizing breeding technology,strengthening quality supervision,building breeding system and promotion system,and to promote the high-quality development of sweet potato virus-free seedling industry.
