Abstract:In order to understand the status of the germplasm resources of Amanita in the mountainous areas of Henan Province,a systematic survey was conducted in 2021-2023 in Taihang,Funiu,Tongbai and Dabie Mountains, aiming to record and categorize their morphological characteristics, ecological information, and virulence.Preliminary investigation showed that there were 36 kinds of Amanita, among them there were 26 kinds of poisonous Amanita, including 10 kinds of highly toxic Amanita and 16 kinds of weakly toxic Amanita, which accounted for 72.22%;4 kinds of Amanita with unknown use, which accounted for 11.11%;and 6 kinds of edible Amanita, which accounted for 16.67%.From the morphological characteristics, most of the Amanita were toxic, edible Amanita accounted for a relatively small proportion, and there was an overlap between highly toxic Amanita and edible Amanita in terms of morphological characteristics, which made it difficult for non-professionals to accurately differentiate between them. From the ecological information, there were various kinds of Amanita in the mountainous areas of Henan Province, with 15 kinds of Amanita in Funiu Mountains,12 kinds of Amanita in Taihang Mountains,8 kinds of Amanita in Tongbai Mountains, and 10 kinds of Amanita in Dabie Mountains.Understanding the germplasm resources of Amanita in mountainous areas,is helpful to strengthen the popularization of science education to the public, avoiding the occurrence of accidental food poisoning, and can provide an important scientific basis for the protection of wild mushroom resources and food safety in Henan Province.
