Comparative Analysis of Agronomic Traits and Quality Traits of Yunnan Xiaohuangjiang and Jiaozuo Huaijiang

Abstract：In order to promote the development of ginger industry in Jiaozuo City and expand the germplasm resources of ginger in Jiaozuo City,the agronomic traits and quality traits of Yunnan Xiaohuangjiang in Jiaozuo City were explored with Jiaozuo Huaijiang as the control variety.The results showed that the agronomic traits such as leaf length,leaf width,stem diameter,stem height and branch number of Jiaozuo Huaijiang were better than those of Yunnan Xiaohuangjiang.In terms of nutritional components,the content of protein and crude fiber in Yunnan Xiaohuangjiang was higher than that in Jiaozuo Huaijiang,while the content of water and soluble sugar was lower than that in Jiaozuo Huaijiang,and the content of selenium was almost the same.In terms of functional components,the contents of 8-gingerol in the two ginger varieties were the same,while the contents of 6-gingerol and 10-gingerol in Yunnan Xiaohuang ginger were 1.16 times and 1.29 times higher than those in Jiaozuo Huaijiang,respectively.There are some differences in agronomic traits,nutritional components and functional components of different ginger varieties planted in the same area,which provides a theoretical basis for the introduction,development and utilization of ginger varieties in Jiaozuo City.
