Abstract：Fast and efficient temporary support equipment is essential for achieving safe,efficient,and fast coal roadway excavation.The advantages,disadvantages,and suitability of several self-moving supports that are currently compatible with boom roadheader in China were analyzed and compared,and the experimental results of the ZLH2 × 1040/32/46 sliding temporary support device in the Huainan mining area were introduced.The development trend of self-moving supports for coal roadway excavation was summarized,providing useful references for the design and research and development of self-moving supports for coal roadway excavation.
