Global Detection of Deformation in Underground Coal Mine Tunnels Based on 3D Laser Scanning Technology

Abstract:Coal mine tunnels are often subjected to high ground stress and strong dynamic disturbances, resulting in a combined stress environment of dynamic and static loads. This stress state can have a sustained effect on the surrounding rock of the tunnel, causing deformation and damage, interfering with data acquisition equipment, and introducing jitter errors. If this error is not corrected,it will seriously affect the accuracy of deformation detection and even lead to misjudgment. Therefore,a comprehensive deformation detection method for underground coal mine tunnels based on 3D laser scanning was proposed.Based on 3D laser scanning technology, the deformation characteristics of the entire tunnel were extracted. In order to eliminate the influence of outliers on the detection results and maintain the detailed deformation feature information, filtering and denoising processing were carried out to improve the authenticity of the detection data.By using the principle of local beam adjustment to match the feature points of global detection images with different frame rates, abnormal jitter pixels were removed, and ORB image pyramids were used for correction and scaling to achieve accurate global detection of deformation in underground coal mine tunnels. The experimental results showed that the designed comprehensive detection method for roadway deformation had good detection effect, reliability and certain application value, making certain contributions to promoting the development of coal mining exploration and solving underground safety problems.
