Abstract:In order to guide the selection of clearance for double row tapered roller bearings in the cutting section of coal winning machines, theoretical calculations and analysis were conducted to obtain the data of the minimum oil film thickness of double row tapered roller bearings as a function of axial internal clearance, and a curve graph was plotted. From the curve graph,it can be seen that the relationship between the minimum oil film thickness of the bearing and the axial internal clearance is when the axial internal clearance is more than 0,the minimum oil film thickness remains basically unchanged and remains above 0.22 μm.When the axial internal clearance is less than 0,the minimum oil film thickness decreases with the decrease of axial internal clearance, and when the axial internal clearance is less than-0.9 mm,the rate of decrease significantly increases with the decrease of axial internal clearance. The quantitative analysis of the variation of the minimum oil film thickness of bearings with axial internal clearance provides a reference for the selection of clearance for double row tapered roller bearings in the cutting section of coal winning machines.
