Current Status and Prospects of Welding Research on the Central Chute of Scraper Conveyor

Abstract：The scraper conveyor plays an important role in transporting coal,guiding the operation of the coal winning machine,and supporting the hydraulic support in the fully mechanized coal mining face.The central chute is an important component of the scraper conveyor.Due to the harsh working conditions of the coal mining face,the wear resistance and reliability of the central chute have become particularly important.The key to achieving high wear resistance and reliability of the central chute is to use more wear-resistant materials and weld with higher quality central chutes.The current research progress in the updating process of welding materials for central chutes,the development and improvement of welding processes,the analysis of welding quality for central chutes,and the improvement of welding methods were addressed.It also looks forward to the possibility of using BTW manganese steel as a future welding material for central chutes.
